So often we use our words to spread negativity and deflate the people around us.  Today, we are going to look at an Old Testament story where negativity cost the Israelites the land and inheritance God had promised them.  The sad truth is that negativity tends to always cost us greatly and have a tremendous impact on those around us.  Our words can actually discourage people from embracing the challenges that God has set before them and make them miss some of God’s blessings.  We must work hard to use our words to encourage others and to promote life and love.
